This notice provides information for the workshop and symposium “Building the Foundations of Buddhist Philology through Digital Humanities: Exploring the Potential of the Tohoku University Digital Archives (ToUDA).”
From CIJS, four members from the Digital Archives Research Unit are scheduled to present: Center Vice Director Satoshi Kato, Associate Professor Ryuta Kikuya, Lecturer Shunpei Katakura, and Assistant Professor Sebastian Neidich.
From CIJS, four members from the Digital Archives Research Unit are scheduled to present: Center Vice Director Satoshi Kato, Associate Professor Ryuta Kikuya, Lecturer Shunpei Katakura, and Assistant Professor Sebastian Neidich.
The events will present the outcomes of ongoing projects such as the Derge Edition of the Tibetan Buddhist Canon Database, and will explore the potential of digital archives in Buddhist Studies. We warmly welcome researchers, graduate students, and all those interested in these topics.
