The hiring committee of the Center for Integrated Japanese Studies has accomplished the difficult first step of narrowing down the very large number of highly-qualified parties who were interested in the faculty positions at the Center for Integrated Japanese Studies. We have scheduled online interviews with each of the chosen applicants to take place June 4-11. The committee will meet after the conclusion of the interviews to create a final shortlist of applicants to invite for campus visits before choosing 3 applicants to join the faculty of the Center. We expect to be able to announce the final results before the end of July.
