Assistant Professor Sebastian Nehrdich from the Center for Integrated Japanese Studies (CIJS) will be speaking at the DiHuCo Hub Symposium 2026, titled "Towards Agentic DH: Diversification of Humanities × AI and the Expansion of AI-Collaborative Research," to be held at Hitotsubashi Auditorium on Friday, August 7, 2026.

Centering on the theme of "Agentic DH," this symposium aims to foster broad discussions on the transformation of research processes in the humanities and social sciences driven by advancing AI technologies, as well as the agency of researchers and new possibilities for AI-collaborative research.

On the day of the event, Assistant Professor Nehrdich, belonging to the Digital Archive and Research Unit at CIJS, will present as a selected grantee of the "Seed Research Creation Project for AI for Science (SPReAD)."
