The edited volume *EMBODIED DISCOURSE, EMBODIED PRACTICE: The Body as Text, Medium, and Testimony in Japan* (Hasekura League Intercultural Studies Editions), edited by Professor Christopher Craig and Assistant Professor Ajjana Thairungroj, has been published.
This book is the latest volume in a series published as the outcome of the Hasekura Symposium, the annual conference of the “Hasekura League,” an international network for Japanese Studies centered at Tohoku University. The 2025 conference was held at the University of British Columbia in Canada, where researchers from various disciplines around the world presented and discussed themes such as “possession,” “dispossession,” and “embodiment.”
